Regardless of what the dog “knows” it is important to have control during those times you need it most, such as under distraction.  Training is not accomplished with bribes, but with tapping into the dog’s motivation.   A dog cannot be reasoned with like a child would.  There is a different psychology involved, we can call it Dog Psychology.  A well-trained dog has a better life than an out of control dog with total freedom.  I have noticed something very interesting.  Dog owners have a different definition of what a “well trained dog” is.  What is Yours?

Clear Communication with your Canine

I believe there is no “one size fits all” for dog training. Often, a different approach is called for in each situation. My dog training is based on making things clear for the dog and showing them what behaviors I want- setting them up for success. I use methods that are proven to work, I do not use avoidance or put band-aids on problems.  I will not waste your time, and you will get the results you expect, and more!

What I believe: There is a solution for any problem, and there is a plan to reach any goal.

A well-trained, socialized dog has a better life than an out of control dog with total freedom.

I have noticed something very interesting. Dog owners all seem to have a different definition of what a “well trained dog” is.  You probably want to be able to enjoy your dog and have fun together, after all, that's why most people got a dog in the first place!  It is important to have communication and control during those times you need it most, such as under distraction. Training is not accomplished with bribes or treats, but with tapping into the dog’s motivation using the correct techniques. A dog cannot be reasoned with like a child would. Dogs also have their own special needs that have to be understood and fufilled. There is a different psychology involved, we can call it Dog Psychology.

Remember- you deserve to enjoy your bond with your dog!
